Plasmapheresis, referred to as therapeutic plasma exchange, is a medical procedure that involves removing blood from the body and then separating out the liquid portion before returning the remaining blood cells back to the patient. This technique is used to treat a variety of conditions, including autoimmune afflictions, blood clotting issues and
